In relation to the occupation of new analyzers and the transition to a new laboratory information system from 03.01.2011, the following changes are introduced:<\/p>\n

\u2022\tThe reference values of some laboratory analyses are changed<\/strong>.
\nIn the annex of the present letter, there is the list of all the tests performed in our laboratory, together with the reference values valid from 03.01.2011. The changes are highlighted separately. All the printouts of the test results and the answers from the electronic data interchange are added the correct referentce values.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tThe barcode system will become more simple.<\/strong>
\nThe present material-based barcode system of letter-number combinations will be substituted with standard barcodes, where the material symbols (EV, TP, PL, SA, TV) are no longer used. All the existing barcodes can be used up without any time limit, then new barcodes will be issued.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tThe reference book descriptions will be added to the analyses that we have started to perform in our laboratory<\/strong>:
\no\tD-dimers
\no\tAntibodies to cyclic citrullinated peptide
\no\tTumour marker CA 72-4
\no\tSpecific IgA, IgM, IgG to Bordetella pertussis
\no\tSpecific IgM, IgA, IgG to Chlamydia trachomatis
\no\tSpecific IgM, IgG to Herpes simplex virus type 1 and 2
\no\tSpecific IgM, IgG to Varicella Zoster virus
\no\tCampylobacter examination
\no\tClostridium difficile examination
\no\tEnterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC) examination
\no\tDetermination of Helicobacter pylori antigen from the Faeces
\no\tDetermination of Norovirus from the Faeces
\no\tYersinia examination<\/p>\n

The reference book descriptions are available and printable in Estonian under Laboriteatmik<\/a>.<\/p>\n
