SYNLAB Eesti O\u00dc<\/a> is the largest medical laboratory in Estonia based on private capital, building up its experience since 1995. The core competence of the company is to offer medical laboratory services to its customers, i.e. general practitioners, the providers of ambulatory and stationary medical care, occupational healthcare centres, different public institutions and private individuals. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The laboratory service consists of the collection and transportation of the sample materials, performing laboratory tests<\/a>, the validation of results, and their delivery to the customers of the service. It also includes the consultations of laboratory specialists in case of neccessity, the feedback from the customers to improve the management of workflow, and the development and implementation of innovative solutions.<\/p>\n

The mission<\/strong> of the SYNLAB Eesti<\/a>\u00a0laboratories is to offer reliable and customer-friendly medical diagnostics solutions for the assessment of people\u2019s state of health.<\/p>\n

Our vision <\/strong>for 2020: SYNLAB\u00a0Eesti O\u00dc\u00a0is the leading diagnostics partner with the broadest range of services and the best networking. We set new standards in customer satisfaction and employee attractiveness.<\/p>\n

There are\u00a0ca\u00a0200 people <\/strong>working in the company<\/a> \u2013 in the central laboratories<\/a> of Tallinn <\/strong>and Tartu<\/strong>, in the satellite laboratories<\/a> of Viljandi<\/strong> and J\u00f5hvi<\/strong>, and additionally, in the sample collection points all over Estonia. The department of development deals with designing and implementation of innovative products and services. The supportive services, i.e. the customer service<\/a>, logistics and IT-development, are directed mainly to supporting our main activity \u2013 performing lab tests \u2013 and appropriate servicing of our customers.<\/p>\n

There are approx. 6\u00a0million laboratory analyses performed in the synlab Eesti<\/a>\u00a0laboratories<\/a> per year. Over 10 000 different sample materials are being handled every day. The list of laboratory analyses consists over 200 different tests necessary for routine clinical practice. However, with the help of different partner laboratories, almost all, even the most specific and rarely ordered lab tests known today from all the areas of lab medicine, are available to our customers.<\/p>\n

For the legal persons using the services of SYNLAB Eesti<\/a>\u00a0regularly, it is possible to enter into a service contract for the performance of the lab service and the accompanying services. The customers using the services of SYNLAB Eesti<\/a>\u00a0and working with programs like Perearst2, Liisa, Ester or Watson every day, have a possibility to order laboratory analyses and see the results electronically<\/a>. All the lab service users can access the results also from synlab Eesti\u00a0home page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As an accreditated medical laboratory<\/strong>, the company<\/a> follows the requirements of ISO 15189 “Medical laboratories \u2013 Particular requirements for quality and competence\u201d in its daily routine, and the legislation and regulations of the Republic of Estonia.<\/p>\n
